MUSCLE TESTING

Your Body's Polygraph Mechanism

Muscle testing works in a similar fashion to the polygraph machines used in lie detector tests.

Your body’s electrical activity reveals a great deal about your health and well-being. Electrical energy travels through the nervous system, which in turn controls the skeletal muscles. Energy that is not able to flow freely - blocked energy, is experienced as weakness by the nervous system, thus weakening the muscle.

In muscle testing, you are asked to think about a triggering phrase or situation, or state something that, if true, would support your emotional health and well-being. (Example: "I am safe, even when I am weak." or "I am lovable, even when I make a mistake.")

When pressure is applied to a predetermined muscle (usually arm, or leg), the muscle will either test strong or weak, depending on whether your body’s electrical energy is able to flow unobstructed through your nervous system.

(Example: The same pressure is used to push your arm slightly down while you say a positive statement that you wish were true: "I am accepted and loved, even when I am in conflict with my partner.", and the opposite negative statement: "I am unlovable when I am in conflict with my partner.")

If your response to a phrase or situation is “no” or triggers detrimental feelings, it will interfere with the electrical energy in your body that is controlling the muscle holding your arm up. As a result, the muscle will test weak, your arm will be less able to resist pressure, and will be more easily pressed down. Alternately, If the response is “yes” or your resulting feelings are positive, the muscle will test strong, and your arm will be more resistant to the downward pressure.

Used in this capacity, your emotional response to stimuli guides your path of targeted healing. In effect, if your arm muscle was weaker, displaying a "no" answer to the positive statement, then the next step would be to correct this negative belief in your subconscious, by replacing it with that positive statement.

"How do you work over the phone then?" one might ask.

Well... that part is similar to harmonics, and incorporates either particle physics or magick...  I'll let you decide...
